(Trenton, NJ)- New Hampshire pushed across two unearned runs in the 10th Inning to beat the Thunder, 4-2, on Thursday night. 3B Eric Arnold led the Fisher Cats offense with three hits, including the go-ahead RBI double in the tenth.

Trenton (32-33) jumped out to a 2-0 lead with single runs in the 1st and 5th Innings off Fisher Cats starter David Purcey. Dh randy Ruiz drove in both runs with an RBI double in the first and a run-scoring single in the fifth. But New Hampshire (29-34) came back with runs in the 6th and 7th Innings off Matt DeSalvo to tie the game. CF Justin Singleton palted the first run with an RBI single. Erik Kratz's RBI groundout tied the game up. DeSalvo allowed two runs in 6 2/3 innings with no walks and six strikeouts, while Purcey allowed two runs in 5 1/3 innings.

The error in the 10th Inning was by Bronson Sardinha on a fly ball to right off the bat of New Hampshire SS Manny Mayorson. Thunder reliever Jeff Kennard then struck out pinch-hitter Chip Cannon, but gave up an RBI double to Arnold for the lead run. An insurance run was added on an infield hit by 2B Brad Hassey.

Fisher Cats reliever Tracy Thorpe (1-0) worked two "perfect" innings with a pair of strikeouts for the win. Kennard (1-1) allowed two unearned runs in 3 1/3 innings for the loss. He struck out five with no walks.

The Thunder start a series in Binghamton, NY on Friday against the Mets. Jeff Karstens (2-0, 3.20) starts for the Thunder against Binghamton's Miguel Perez (1-3, 5.25).
