Trenton Thunder News Release
(Trenton, NJ)- The Trenton Thunder, the Double-A Affiliate of the New York Yankees, have postponed the game scheduled for Friday, September 1 at 7:05 against the Reading Phillies. The game will be made up as part of doubleheader (two seven inning games) on Saturday, September 2 starting at 5:05 PM. Waterfront Park gates will open at 3:30 for season ticket holders and 4:05 for the general public.
All tickets for September 1 may be exchanged for tickets of equal or lesser value to any other game remaining this season or the playoffs, based on availability. For further information, fans should contact the Trenton Thunder Ticket Office at 609-394-3300.
Saturday's game 1 starters are Tyler Clippard for Trenton vs. Allen Davis of Reading. For game 2 Trenton will start Matt Childers and Reading will start John Stephens.
The Thunder and Reading Phillies will play on Sunday at 6:05 PM and then the regular season finale on Monday at 1:35 PM. The Eastern League playoffs will begin on Wednesday, September 6 at 7:05 PM as the Thunder host the second place team in the EL Northern Division. The Thunder will also host Game 2 on Thursday, September 7 at 7:05.
