Thunder 2011 Playoff Roster Announced

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Edmonton Oilers and San Jose Sharks, have announced the club's mandatory 24-man playoff roster, which was due to the ECHL league office at Noon PT on Monday.

Additionally, it was announced that goaltender Zane Kalemba was added to the Thunder playoff roster as an emergency backup goaltender.

STOCKTON THUNDER PLAYOFF ROSTER:

Goaltenders (3): Zane Kalemba, Tyson Sexsmith, Bryan Pitton

Defensemen (8): Anthony Aiello, Jordan Bendfeld, Cameron Brodie, Ryan Constant, Johan Motin, Jody Pederson, Dan Ringwald, Steve Vanoosten

Forwards (13): Mark Arcobello, Pierre-Andre Bureau, Bretton Cameron, Fraser Clair, Kelly Czuy, Jordan Foreman, Jordan Fulton, Garet Hunt, Jarrett Konkle, Chris Lawrence, Jim McKenzie, Jason Pitton, Craig Valette

Denotes currently on recall or loan to respective American Hockey League club (AHL)

Game one of the Kelly Cup Playoffs (Western Conference Quarterfinal) begins tomorrow at Maverik Center in West Valley City, Utah beginning at 6:05 p.m. between Stockton and Utah. The game can be heard on radio at 1280 KWSX and viewed online exclusively at www.stocktonthunder.com, courtesy of AmericaOne (audio is free of charge).

Tickets begin at just $7 per seat, range up to $28 (glass seats and Comcast Club) and can be purchased in person at the Stockton Arena Ticket Office, by calling (209) 373-1700 or by visiting www.StocktonTickets.com. Playoff group tickets are also available at a discount for parties of 10 or more and begin at $7 per seat.

Fans wishing to purchase Kelly Cup Playoff strips may lock in tickets for all games now by calling the Stockton Thunder at (209) 373-1500.

The Thunder returns home for game three of the series on Saturday, beginning at 7:30 p.m. at Stockton Arena. The 2011 Thunder Playoffs presented by Golden Bear Insurance Company theme is "Going For The Gold," which asks all fans in attendance for Thunder Kelly Cup Playoff games to wear gold in the chase for its first ever championship. The Thunder will also wear its gold "third" jersey during playoff games.
