WEEK IN REVIEW (Home team in CAPS):

Tuesday, Mar. 29

LAS VEGAS 5 vs. Condors 2

The Wranglers put an end to the Condors 11-game winning streak, and also ended G Brian Stewart's record 10-game winning streak, with a 5-2 victory at Orleans Arena Tuesday night. The Condors took a 1-0 lead on F Bobby Robins' tally, and C Adam Naglich tied the game at 2-2 early in the second. But Vegas reeled off three unanswered goals, including an empty netter, to seal the win.

Wednesday, Mar. 30

ONTARIO 7 vs. Condors 5

F Jean-Marc Beaudoin scored twice, while RW Erick Lizon, F Bobby Robins, and RW Stephane Goulet each scored for the Condors, but it wasn't enough to topple the Reign in a 7-5 setback at Citizens Business Bank Arena Wednesday. The Reign touched up Condors G Jim Watt for seven tallies on 39 shots in the rookie's second career start. Bakersfield finished the season series against the Reign with 10 wins in 14 games.

Friday, Apr. 1

Condors 3 vs. UTAH 1

RW Stephane Goulet scored once in the first and once in the third to stake the visitors to a 2-0 advantage. Utah tallied while shorthanded with less than seven minutes left to get on the board, but an empty netter by Captain F Andrew Ianiero secured the victory for the Condors. The win put them on the precipice of their second straight division title, as G Brian Stewart turned aside 39 of 40 shots in the win.

Saturday, Apr. 2

UTAH 2 vs. Condors 1 (SO)

Despite being shorthanded six times in the game, the Condors surrendered only 16 shots through regulation and overtime, but Utah pulled away with a 2-1 victory in the shootout. Rookie D Josh Burrows, who skated at forward for the night due to a shortened roster, scored his first professional goal while the Condors racked up 40 shots on the night.

PLAYER AND TEAM NOTES:

The Condors winning streak in the final month of the regular season was stopped at 11 straight games, tying the club record for consecutive victories set in 1999-00.

The Condors held the Grizzlies to just 16 shots on Saturday in regulation and overtime, the lowest opponent shot total of the season.

D Josh Burrows skated as a forward on Saturday, and also collected his first professional goal.

The Condors lost to Ontario for just the 4th time all year on Wednesday, finishing with a 10-4-0 season series advantage over the Reign.

The Condors dominated their division in the regular season, going 22-11-1 on the year and 15-2-0 at home.

F Mike Gurtler recorded his first professional point on Wednesday with an assist against Ontario.

The Condors still have an 11 game home winning streak, dating back to Feb. 25 against the Stockton Thunder.
