
Three Thorns FC Players Named to U.S. Women's National Team Training Camp Roster for December Friendlies against China PR

PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland Thorns FC midfielders Sam Coffey and Olivia Moultrie and forward Sophia Smith have been named to the U.S. Women's National Team training camp roster for a pair of friendlies against China PR during the upcoming FIFA window from Nov. 27 - Dec. 5, it was announced today.
Coffey earned her fifth USWNT cap as a substitute in the match against Colombia on Oct. 29. Moultrie, who earned her first USWNT call up during the October FIFA window, has yet to make her senior international debut. The 18-year-old midfielder has competed at the youth level, featuring with the U.S. U-20s at the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup. Smith (36 caps) made two appearances for the USWNT against Colombia in October, earning one start and one substitute appearance.
The USWNT will face China PR at DRV PNK Stadium in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. on Dec. 2; kickoff is set for 12 p.m. (Pacific) on TNT, Telemundo, MAX, Peacock and Universo. The two teams square off for a second time on Dec. 5 at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas with a 5 p.m. (Pacific) kickoff on MAX, Peacock, truTV and Universo.
