
Three Second Period Goals Spark Mechanics 5-1 Win!

FRASER, MI-Behind two Vlad Serov goals the Mechanics outplay the River Otters tonight as they go on to win 5-1 at the Great Lakes Sports City Superior Arena.
Missouri scored first but the Mechanics responded with three unanswered goals in the second period. Vlad Serov, Mike Burgoyne and Adam Edinger all scored for the Mechanics as they took a 3-1 lead into the second intermission.
Vlad Serov then netted his second goal of the game when he found a loose puck sitting all alone and he fired a shot past the Missouri goaltender. Peter Szabo then netted the Mechanics fifth goal with Kevin Hansen and Brent Gretzky netting the assists.
Rod Branch made his 27th consecutive start in net and 56th start of the season making 29 saves for his 29th win of the season.
The Mechanics return to action tomorrow night in Flint as they face off against the Generals in Perani Arena and Event Center at 7:30 PM. Sunday the Mechanics face the Generals again at home, face-off is 5:00 PM
