NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A four-hit, three-run seventh inning boosted the Nashville Sounds past the Round Rock Express 6-3 Tuesday night at Herschel Greer Stadium. The Sounds (43-36) won the series 3-1, while the Express (35-45) still lead the season series 7-5.

With the game locked at two, Johnny Raburn's one-out single in the top half of the seventh started the game-deciding inning. Pinch hitter Erick Almonte's two-out double scored Raburn. Back-to-back singles by Trent Oeltjen and Ray Olmedo plated two additional runs and a 5-2 lead that Sounds never relinquished.

Sounds starter Marty McLeary (2-6) earned the win; he allowed two runs, one earned, on seven hits with three walks and five strikeouts over 7.0 innings. Brandon Kintzler worked the final two innings, picking up his third save, while allowing one run on one hit with two strikeouts.

Express starter Shane Loux (2-5) was given the loss, surrendering five runs on nine hits in 7.0 innings. He finished with a season-high eight strikeouts, while not issuing a walk. Gary Majewski worked the eighth inning, giving up one run on two hits.

While trailing 2-0, Round Rock got back into the game after Tommy Everidge's solo dinger in the fourth inning and Kevin Cash crossed the plate after a bases-loaded walk to Luiz Maza in the fifth, evening the score at two.

Nashville added a run in the eighth, while the Express responded with a home run in the ninth from Matt Kata.

Yordany Ramirez and Kata, who added a double, were the two players who had two-hits for the Express. Drew Lock (1-for-4) extended his hitting streak to eight games and has hit safely in 12 of the last 13.

Wednesday is an off day in the Pacific Coast League. Round Rock continues its sixth road trip of the season on Thursday, with a three-game set at Memphis. The Express will send lefty Wesley Wright (3-0, 5.03 ERA) to the mound, while the Redbirds counter with righty P.J. Walters (1-2, 3.19).
