Three Hitmen Named to NHL's Players to Watch List for November

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen Hockey Club is pleased to announce defenceman Jake Bean, forward Beck Malenstyn and goaltender Cody Porter have been named to the National Hockey League's Players to Watch list for November in advance of the 2016 NHL Draft. The list, compiled by NHL Central Scouting Service, groups all prospects by league and gives each player an individual rating.

Bean, one of 49 players from the Western Hockey League on the list, received an "A" ranking which indicates a first-round candidate. Malenstyn and Porter received "C" rankings, indicating a fourth, fifth or sixth-round selection.

Calgary, 14-10-0-1, opens a two-game Saskatchewan road trip tonight in Prince Albert (6:00 p.m. MT, Sportsnet.ca/960) before heading to Saskatoon to battle the Blades on Wed., Nov. 25 (6:05 p.m. MT, Sportsnet 960-The Fan).
