Thorns FC Exercise 2020 Contract Options on Nine Players

PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland Thorns FC today announced that the club has exercised the 2020 contract options on nine players.
The players whose options were exercised for the 2020 season are: Bella Bixby, Dagny Brynjarsdottir, Simone Charley, Tyler Lussi, Emily Menges, Emily Ogle, Midge Purce, Madison Pogarch and Gabby Seiler.
Andressinha, Elizabeth Ball, Celeste Boureille, Britt Eckerstrom, Caitlin Foord, Kelli Hubly, Meghan Klingenberg, Hayley Raso, Katherine Reynolds and Angela Salem have been extended new contract offers with announcements pending.
As announced last week, Ellie Carpenter has been signed to a multi-year contract ahead of the 2020 season. Additionally, Ana Crnogorcevic is out of contract and has not been extended a bona fide offer. Crnogorcevic will be eligible for selection on the NWSL Re-Entry Wire.
Canadian international Christine Sinclair and U.S. internationals Adrianna Franch, Tobin Heath, Lindsey Horan and Emily Sonnett also remain on the roster.
