Houston Dash Announce Roster Update After 2019 NWSL Season

HOUSTON - The Houston Dash offered new contracts to seven players and exercised options on 16 players following the 2019 NWSL season, the club announced today.
Additionally, Canadian National Team defender Allysha Chapman, midfielder Sophie Schmidt and forward Nichelle Prince will remain on the Dash roster as allocated Federation players. An updated list of Federation players for the 2020 season will be announced at a later date.
The club also announced that it would not offer midfielder Grace Cutler, defender Clare Polkinghorne or forward Kyah Simon a new player agreement and they will now enter the NWSL re-entry wire.
The status for the players on the 2019 active roster can be found below.
Option Exercised: Lindsay Agnew, Betsy Brandon, Ari Calderon, Jane Campbell, Jamia Fields, Ally Haran, Jazmin Jackmon, Devon Kerr, Cece Kizer, Kayla McCoy, Kristen Mewis, Satara Murray, Christine Nairn, Ally Prisock, Cami Privett, Ari Romero
Extended new contract offer: Amber Brooks, Rachel Daly, Haley Hanson, Bianca Henninger, Sofia Huerta, Kealia Ohai, Veronica Latsko
Placed on Re-Entry Wire: Grace Cutler, Clare Polkinghorne, Kyah Simon
Federation Players: Allysha Chapman, Nichelle Prince, Sophie Schmidt
Including the three Federation players, there are currently 19 players under contract for the 2020 season.
