
Reign FC Exercises Contract Options of 23 Players and Offers New Contracts to 7 Players

TACOMA, WASH. - Reign FC announced today that it has exercised the 2020 contract options of 23 players and extended contract offers to 7 others. The club recently concluded its seventh season in the National Women's Soccer League, appearing in the semifinals for the second consecutive year.
The following players had their options exercised for the 2020 season: goalkeepers Sammy Jo Prudhomme and Casey Murphy; defenders Steph Catley, Steph Cox, Schuyler DeBree, Celia Jiménez Delgado, Kristen McNabb, Megan Oyster and Taylor Smith; midfielders Morgan Andrews, Allie Long, Rebecca Quinn, Rosie White, Bev Yanez and Morgan Proffitt; forwards Shea Groom, Darian Jenkins, Megan Rapinoe, Addison Steiner, Jodie Taylor, Bethany Balcer, Ifeoma Onumonu and Jasmyne Spencer.
Additionally, the following players are out of contract, but have been offered new contracts for the upcoming season: goalkeepers Michelle Betos and Lydia Williams; defenders Lauren Barnes, Theresa Nielsen and Christen Westphal; midfielders Rumi Utsugi and Jess Fishlock.
Additionally, the club elected not to exercise the contract options of goalkeeper Scout Watson and forward Jaycie Johnson. The NWSL rights to Johnson and Watson will be made available to other teams via the Re-Entry Wire beginning at 10 a.m. PT on Monday, November 4.
