
Thomas named Affiliated Foods MVP

KEARNEY â The Tri-City Storm Booster Club held its third annual Tri-City Storm Awards Banquet on Monday night at the Holiday Inn in Kearney. Five individual awards were given out at the banquet highlighted by Storm forward Bill Thomas being named the 2004 Affiliated Foods Most Valuable Player.
Thomas is in his second season with the Storm and leads the team in assists (34), points (63) and plus/minus (+37). He is second on the team with 29 goals. Thomas also became the team's all-time leading scorer this season with a two-year total of 114, passing Konrad Reeder (108).
