LANSING, Mich. - Popular alternative rock band The Verve Pipe will play a postgame concert at Cooley Law School Stadium on Thursday, September 8th, the Lansing Lugnuts announced Monday.
Formed in Grand Rapids and based in East Lansing, The Verve Pipe is best known for "The Freshman," a multi-format gold single that reached #5 on the Billboard 100 chart.
Their concert will take place on a Labatt Blue Light Thirsty Thursday, featuring $2 beer and soda specials, and will immediately follow the Lugnuts' 7:05 p.m. Midwest League playoff game.
Admission to the concert is included in the price of the ticket, available for purchase online at www.lansinglugnuts.com, at the stadium box office, and by calling 517-485-4500.
