GENEVA, Ill. - Monday night's game between the Kane County Cougars and Wisconsin Timber Rattlers was postponed by rain before it ever began. The game will be made up Tuesday as part of a doubleheader starting at 4 p.m. CT. The clubs, who have split the first two games of the series, will play two seven-inning games.

This was the Cougars' first postponed game since May 25 and the first postponed home game since April 22. The originally scheduled starters from Monday -- Leondy Perez (4-11, 3.53) for the Cougars and Eric Arnett (NR) for the Rattlers -- are expected to start Game 1 Tuesday. Santiago Garrido (1-3, 6.20) and Brooks Hall (5-3, 3.66) are expected to oppose each other in Game 2. Both games of Tuesday's doubleheader will be broadcast on WBIG 1280-AM and online via kccougars.com with pregame coverage starting at 3:45 p.m.
