Hot Rods Rained out Monday

South Bend, IN - Thanks to heavy rains and a bleak forecast, Monday night's game between the Hot Rods and the South Bend Silver Hawks was postponed at Coveleski Stadium in northern Indiana. The teams will now wrap up their series on getaway-day Tuesday with a doubleheader beginning at 11 AM CDT.

Each game will be seven innings in length with a 30-minute intermission between the contests. The Hot Rods are slated to have RHP Jason McEachern (1-1, 4.91) in game one followed by RHP Eliazer Suero (7-4, 4.52) in the second game. South Bend is scheduled to throw RHP J.R. Bradley (4-13, 4.86) followed by RHP Tyler Green (3-7, 5.36).
