South Bend Silver Hawks News Release
South Bend, IN - Monday's scheduled game between the South Bend Silver Hawks and Bowling Green Hot Rods at Coveleski Stadium has been postponed due to rain in the South Bend area. The game has been rescheduled as part of a doubleheader on Tuesday beginning at 12:00 PM Eastern Time.
The gates will open for Tuesday's game at 11:30 AM Eastern Time. Tuesday's game will be Splish Splash day presented by Pepsi. Fans are encouraged to wear their bathing suits as Swoop will be walking around the ballpark with his squirt gun! Special no splash seating sections are available for those who prefer to stay dry.
Both games will be seven innings in length, per Midwest League rules. Starting pitchers for tomorrow's doubleheader are still to be announced.
