The Edmonton Roadrunners (Edmonton) are currently 3rd in the North Division with 47 points and have a 20- 10-2-5 record... St. John's will take on the Syracuse Crunch next Friday, January 21st.
The Baby Leafs are 3-0 vs the Sens this season and will visit Binghamton January 22nd.
MAPLE LEAFS PLAYER OF THE WEEK...
St. John's has nominated goaltender Jean Sebastien Aubin as the Maple Leafs Player of the Week for the period ending Sunday, January 9th. Last week, Aubin appeared in three games, all against Hamilton, and posted a 2-1-0 record, a 3.01 GAA and a .912 save percentage. Aubin stopped 83 of 91 shots faced to receive a 1st and 2nd during the week. Since joining the Maple Leafs in November, Aubin has an 8-3-0 record, a 2.05 GAA and a .947 save percentage. This is Aubin's second nomination as Player of the Week.
THIS WEEK IN LEAFS HISTORY...
January 14, 1994 - Yanic Perreault fires at hat trick for the Leafs in a 5-1 decision over the P.E.I. Senators at the Stadium.
