The Kelowna Rockets fell 4-2 to the Victoria Royals on Saturday night in Victoria.

The Royals opened the scoring with three in the first period. They held a 3-0 lead through to the third period.

Victoria collected another in the third to take a four goal lead. Nolan Foote(5) got the Rockets on the board on the power play in the later stages of the period. Leif Mattson(5) scored another power play marker just 1:02 later but that's all Kelowna could generate as the Royals took it 4-2.

Brodan Salmond's record falls to 3-4-0-1 after stopping 28 of the 32 shots he faced.

Kelowna falls to 8-6-2-1 on the season.

The Rockets head back home for a meeting with the Vancouver Giants on Friday, November 10th. The next evening the Rockets host the Red Deer Rebels. Both games go at 7:05pm.
