
The Cowboy Monkey Rodeo Returns

Frederick, Md. -One of Minor League Baseball's most entertaining shows returns to Nymeo Field on Saturday and highlights the Frederick Keys upcoming four-game homestand. The Keys take on the Salem Red Sox from Thursday, July 21 through Sunday, July 24. To book your tickets fans can call 301-815-9939 or visit frederickkeys.com.
Team Ghost Riders and The Cowboy Monkey Rodeo return to Nymeo Field on Saturday night. First pitch is at six and gates open at five, as Tim 'Wild Thang' Lepard's band of monkeys will be on hand for another fantastic show. This spectacle features monkeys dressed as cowboys riding dogs as though they were horses while herding sheep. There will be several teasers during the game, followed by a full show once the Keys and Red Sox finish. Additionally, there will be fireworks presented by Precision Heating and Cooling.
The Keys will celebrate Christmas in July on Friday night. First pitch is at seven o'clock and fans can enjoy Christmas carols as well as a visit from Keyote Clause who will be riding his sleigh down from the North Pole. There will be postgame fireworks sponsored by Rentals Unlimited, while it is also Safe at Home Night. Keys players and coaches will be wearing special hats, with proceeds benefiting Heartly House. Fans can bid on the hats throughout the game.
Medieval Times Night is slated for Thursday at 7 p.m and will feature sword fights and other medieval fare throughout the evening. Plus, when fans walk through the gates, they can pick up an LED flashlight courtesy of Potomac Edison. Then on Sunday, it is Disney Daddy Daughter Date Day. Gametime is at 2 p.m and gates open one hour prior, as dads are invited to bring their little princess out to the ballpark. A special Daddy Daughter package is available by contacting the Keys Groups Office at 301-815-9900.
Kids who participate in the Keys Summer Reading program presented by AstraZeneca can also take part in a pre-game parade, while it is a Sunday Funday courtesy of Chili's. From 1-1:30 p.m fans can have a catch in the outfield and get autographs from two Keys players on the first base concourse.
