Orlando City will bring familiar faces back to BMO Stadium, with goalkeeper Maxime Crépeau and midfielder Eduard Atuesta returning to their former club after winning multiple trophies with LAFC.
The Lions welcome back eight players from international duty, including Maxime Crépeau with Canada, Marco Pašalić with Croatia, Braian Ojeda with Paraguay, Tahir Reid-Brown with the U.S. U-20s, Gustavo Caraballo with Venezuela's U-20s, Luíz Otávio with Brazil's U-20s and Justin Ellis and Colin Guske with the U.S. U-19s.
LAFC and 2025 expansion side San Diego FC are the only two teams in MLS that Orlando City is still looking for its first regular-season wins against. With matches against both this season, the Lions have the opportunity to complete that milestone by the end of the 2026 campaign, having already posted a victory against each of the other 27 teams in league history. Quote of the Week:
"First of all, we are focused on our team, our game model and our topics. We have a lot of work to do there, and we are doing that. Then, of course, we are preparing for the game. We know we are facing a good team with top players, and we will be ready for that. Again, we are focused mainly on our team."
- Interim Head Coach Martín Perelman
