Blaine, MN - The Minotauros won their second game in as many days defeating the Amarillo Bulls Friday afternoon by a 6-3 score.  THe game started as a back and forth affair with the Tauros twice coming from behind to tie the game. Every time that Amarillo scored the Tauros found an answer.  James LaDouce and Johnny Walker each had power play goals to answer power play goals by Amarillo in the first and second period.  1:36 after Walker scored to tie it Jack Murphy gave the Tauros the lead for the first time finishing a turnover created by Max Mettler.  Austin Matinsen added the Tauros' third power play goal of the game at 19:56 of the second to give the Tauros a 4-2 lead headed into the third.  Just as they had in each of the first two periods Amarillo struck first when Joey Molinaro found a loose puck in front of the Tauros net.  The Tauros answered again however when Grayson Gavin ripped a shot from in tight into the back of the net; Murphy added an empty netter to push the final to 6-3.

Next up for the Tauros is the Corpus Christi Ice Rays whom are off to a 2-3-0 start.  Corpus plays a defensive game with averaging only 26.75 shots against per game and taking only 25.  The result is only 10 goals against and 9 goals for.  Carter Johnson has posted a third of the Ice Rays' goals.  Conversely,  9 different Tauros have combined for the Tauros 15 goals with LaDouce's 3 leading the way.  Puck drop is at 12:15, for the Tauros on the final day of the Showcase.
