
Miller Leads Bruins over Aston Rebels

BLAINE, MN - Jade Miller continued his huge week at the NAHL showcase, scoring the game tying and winning goals in a 4-2 win over the Aston Rebels on Friday afternoon.
The Bruins trailed 2-1 after the first as Aston's Guy Roby and Evgeny Yakoviev scored around a Jacob Paganelli tally for Austin.
Miller took over in the 2nd, scoring shorthanded on a set up by Gilbert Gabor and then netting a powerplay goal with the Bruins up 5 on 3. Before the period ended, AJ Drobot added an unassisted goal to make it 4-2.
Kris Carlson was tremendous in goal, stopping 24 of 26 Aston shots for his first win. The Bruins improved to 2-3-0 overall and face the Kenai River Brown Bears on Saturday at 6:15 PM to conclude the showcase.
