Texas Stars Recall Josh Robinson from Idaho Steelheads

CEDAR PARK, TEXAS - The Texas Stars, proud American Hockey league affiliate of the Dallas Stars, announced today that the club has recalled goaltender Josh Robinson from loan with the Idaho Steelheads, their ECHL affiliate.

Robinson, 23, has appeared in four games for Texas this season, including a 26-save shutout in his AHL debut on October 19th vs. San Antonio. The Frankenmuth, Michigan native has a 2-1-0 record for the Stars, with a 2.49 goals-against average (GAA) and a 0.893 save percentage (SV%). In 13 ECHL games this year with Idaho, Robinson is 9-3-1, with a 2.28 GAA and a 0.921 SV%.

The Stars are currently enjoying a five-day holiday break before completing their three-game road trip Friday, December 27th against the San Antonio Rampage at 7:30 p.m. at AT&T Center. Texas will return home to face San Antonio on Saturday, December 28th with a 7:00 p.m. face off at Cedar Park Center. Next Saturday's home game against the Rampage is another Texas Lottery Lucky Row Night, a Coke Zero Family Four Pack Night and is the 2014 Texas Stars Calendar Giveaway night presented by The Parking Spot.
