TORONTO, ONTARIO - Hamilton Bulldogs defenceman Greg Pateryn scored 3:53 into overtime to earn the 'Dogs (13-14-0-4) first win in six games 2-1 over the Toronto Marlies (16-9-2-1) on Thursday afternoon at Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario.

Hamilton led in shots on goal 12-4 after one period and 17-5 at the midway point of the second period before Joonas Nattinen opened the scoring at 9:59 of the middle frame with his fifth goal of the season, unassisted.

Toronto defenceman T.J. Brennan tied the game 1-1 on the power play with less than eight minutes to go in the third period, assisted by defenceman Stuart Percy.

In overtime, Pateryn put home a rebound off a shot by defenceman Jarred Tinordi to seal the win for Hamilton.

Dustin Tokarski made 18 saves on 19 shots in the Bulldogs net in the win. Drew MacIntyre made 38 saves on 40 shots for the Marlies in the overtime loss.

The Bulldogs went 0-for-7 on the power play, while the Marlies went 1-for-5.
