DES MOINES, Iowa - The Texas Legends shot past the Iowa Wolves, 138-126, on Sunday afternoon at Wells Fargo Arena.

Grant Riller poured in a game-high 39 points for Texas (2-1) and added 10 assists and six rebounds. Tyler Hall scored 35 points helped by 10 three-pointers while Yudai Baba finished with 24 points, eight rebounds and four assists.

D.J. Carton led Iowa (1-2) with 24 points while Minnesota assignees Josh Minott and Wendell Moore Jr. scored 21 points and 20 points, respectively.

The first two quarters were tightly contested as the Legends led by just one point at halftime, 62-61. Matt Lewis, who started the game with a three, made another deep three to start the third to give Iowa a two-point lead. The lead was short lived as Texas came back to take a five-point advantage after three quarters.

The Legends carried the momentum into the fourth quarter with a 13-2 run. Later, Iowa fell behind by 19 points in the final quarter as Texas pulled away for the win in the first meeting between the teams this season. Texas travels back to Des Moines Feb. 9 for the final regular season matchup.

Following Sunday's game, Iowa departs on a four-game road trip that starts Jan. 6 at Salt Lake City.
