
Skyforce Splits Back-To-Back with Clippers, Wins Finale 123-110

Sioux Falls, SD - The Sioux Falls Skyforce defeated the Ontario Clippers 123-110 on Sunday afternoon to earn the team's first victory of the 2022-23 regular season.
DJ Stewart posted his second-straight game of 26-plus points, scoring 28 points on 11-22 FGA (4-6 3PA), five rebounds, two assists and two steals. Jamaree Bouyea added 25 points on 11-15 FGA, seven rebounds and five assists. Dru Smith contributed 24 points on 10-20 FGA, six assists and five rebounds in the winning effort.
Sioux Falls (1-2) is 4-1 this season when three-or-more players score 20-plus points.
The Skyforce, who shot 52.9 percent from the field in the first half (27-51) outscored the Clippers (2-2) 70-50. Stewart, Smith and Bouyea combined for 47 points to guide Sioux Falls.
Ontario responded, outscoring Sioux Falls 60-53 in the second half. Jason Preston led the Clippers with 29 points and eight assists, while Xavier Moon added 22 points off the bench. Los Angeles Clippers two-way player Moussa Diabate had 19 points and seven rebounds to round out top scorers for Ontario.
Mychal Mulder posted 14 points on 4-13 3PA, which marked his 11th game in the last 12 with multiple three-point makes. Marcus Garrett, who has a plus-18 plus-minus in his first two games back with the Skyforce added 12 points, eight rebounds and three assists.
Sioux Falls completes a three-game homestand on Wednesday against the Texas Legends. Tip-off is slated for 6:30 PM CST from the Sanford Pentagon.
