
Ten Winterhawks Invited to NHL Development Camps

It's time to go camping!
With the 2022 NHL Draft and a WHL-best 146th all-time selection for the Winterhawks now behind us, 10 Portland players from the 2021-22 roster are off to NHL cities to participate in development camps around the League this month, with many beginning this week.
Of the ten Winterhawks set to attend camp, five were drafted, three were non-roster invitees and two previously signed free-agent deals during the WHL season. The Winterhawks will be represented at eight different NHL camps, with the Pittsburgh Penguins hosting the most Portland players (3).
