Six Current, Former Chiefs Attending Summer NHL Development Camps

Six current and former Spokane Chiefs are attending NHL development camps this summer, including all three that were selected in last week's NHL Draft. Spokane European prospect David Jiricek will attend the Columbus Blue Jackets' camp, Mason Beaupit will head to the San Jose Sharks' camp and Graham Sward will be at the Nashville Predators' camp.

A trio of former Chiefs will also start skating with their NHL teams this week: Bear Hughes (Washington Capitals), Jack Finley (Tampa Bay Lightning) and Luke Toporowski (Boston Bruins).

Development camps are set to start Monday, July 11 and run throughout the week.
