
Over 140 Past and Present WHL Players Participating in NHL Development Camps

More than 140 current and former WHL players are taking part in NHL Development Camps this week as drafted prospects or free agent invitees.
On-ice sessions began Monday in various NHL markets. The Edmonton Oilers lead all NHL Clubs with 15 WHL participants at its Development Camp, while the Calgary Flames and Vegas Golden Knights both have 10 WHL players taking part in their respective Camps.
Among the names taking part in Development Camps around the NHL, the 2022 CHL Player of the Year Logan Stankoven (Dallas Stars), Chicago Blackhawks seventh-overall selection Kevin Korchinski and captain of the 2022 Ed Chynoweth Cup champion Edmonton Oil Kings Jake Neighbours (St. Louis Blues).
