SAN DIEGO - The Gulls and San Diego Harley Davidson are hosting the third annual Teddy Bear Toss this Friday, to benefit Hope for the Holidays. The Gulls will be facing off against the red-hot Bakersfield Condors and all fans are encouraged to bring teddy bears to toss out onto the ice after the Gulls score their first goal of the game. The teddy bears will be collected and donated to Hope for the Holidays, a national charity to benefit under privileged children.

Last season Gulls fans contributed more than 3,000 teddy bears and they hope to have an even more successful event this season.

Hope for the Holidays is a public service campaign, dedicated to elevating awareness of outstanding community based organizations and encouraging volunteerism, while providing a positive holiday experience for children in need.

If you forget your teddy bear, the Sunrise Kiwanis Club will be selling bears outside the arena prior to the game. Game time is 7 p.m. and all games can be heard live on 1130AM-KSDO and at www.ksdo.com with Chris Ello calling the play-by-play. The Gulls' Internet radio show broadcasts live every Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. on wsradio.com with Tera Black and Jeremy Zager hosting.
