
Tankersley heads to majors, Brandenburg to Mudcats

Zebulon, NC --- The Florida Marlins have made two player moves affecting the Double-A Carolina Mudcats ahead of their homestand opener tonight.
LHP Taylor Tankersley has had his contract officially purchased by the Marlins, and will be in uniform tonight at Coors Field against the Colorado Rockies. Tankersley leaves the Mudcats with an 0.95 ERA and a record of 4-1 plus six saves.
LHP Adam Brandenburg has been reassigned to the Mudcats for the third time from the Jupiter Hammerheads. Brandenburg will be in uniform tonight ahead of the first of five games against the Mississippi Braves.
