JACKSONVILLE, FL- Chris O?Riordan?s two run home run in the ninth inning couldn?t get the BayBears back into Friday?s game in Jacksonville. The Suns had 11 hits off Mobile pitching Friday, and won the game 6-3. The home run for O?Riordan was his first as a BayBear. Mobile had just three hits in the game- O?Riordan?s home run, a Luis Cruz home run, and a Michael Johnson double.
Sean Thompson took the loss for the BayBears, dropping his record to 1-5. Jacksonville scored four unearned runs in the fourth inning, with the runs coming after a Peter Ciofrone error. Jon Ellis pitched 1.1 innings without allowing a run in his first game as a BayBear.
