San Antonio Talons News Release
SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS (MAY 15, 2012) - The San Antonio Talons advance once more in Week 11 of the Arena Football League (AFL) Power Rankings after a big win at home last Saturday against the Pittsburgh Power. With their record now up to 0.667, the Talons move to the number four spot in the league, and the number two spot in the Central Division, just in time to take on the highest ranked San Jose SaberCats this Saturday.
Last weekend's 68-52 win over Pittsburgh marks the Talons third consecutive victory; a winning streak that is second only to this weekend's challenger, the SaberCats. The Talons' top ranked defense and aggressive offense, led by 2011 Offensive Player of the Year, Aaron Garcia, will fight to end the SaberCats reign this Saturday and claim their fourth straight win at a 7 p.m. home game at the Alamodome.
Doors open to the public at 6 p.m. on May 19, and fans are encouraged to arrive early for what is sure to be a high-intensity, action-packed game. For more information about pre-game events or tickets, visit SATalons.com.
