San Antonio Talons News Release
SAN ANTONIO (January 9, 2014) - The San Antonio Talons are pleased to announce that kickoff times for their 2014 Home Schedule at the Alamodome have been set. The Talons are entering their third season at the Alamodome and are looking forward to a great year under the leadership of Head Coach Lee Johnson.
The Talons will open their season on Saturday March 15th against the Los Angeles KISS at 7:00pm CST. The KISS will be playing their first game in the Arena Football League since joining the AFL this past summer. The KISS are owned by rock and roll legends Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley. The game is expected to draw a large crowd to the Alamodome.
The Talons Home Schedule also includes games against their division rivals the Arizona Rattlers (June 14th) and regional rival the New Orleans VooDoo (May 17th) as well as a rematch of one of 2013's most exciting games against the Jacksonville Sharks (July 5th) and the first ever appearance of the Orlando Predators in San Antonio (June 7th). The Talons will kick off seven home games this year at 7:00pm CST. Each of those seven games will be played on Saturday evenings. The Talons will kick off two home games (Tampa Bay Storm on March 21st and Pittsburgh Power on April 4th) at 7:30 pm CST. Both of those games will be played on Friday evenings. Tickets for Talons Home Games will go on sale on Friday January 24th and can be purchased by calling 210-227 TEAM (8326).
