Portland Thunder Training Camp Dates Set

PORTLAND, OR - The Portland Thunder have set official dates for their inaugural training camp, to take place from February 22-March 10, 2014. Camp will be held at the Tualatin Indoor Soccer Center in Tualatin, Ore. and selected camp dates will be open to the public.

"As a staff, we're glad to be one step closer to the season and to get these guys in here and see what our team is going to look like in 2014," said Head Coach Matthew Sauk. "We're excited to let our fans see the talent we've brought in for the first time, too."

The main event of training camp will be a scrimmage on Saturday, March 1. The event will be open to all Portland Thunder season ticket holders.

Dates and times for open practices will be available on www.portlandthunder.com in early February.

The Portland Thunder will kick off its inaugural season at the Moda Center on Monday, March 17th when they take on the San Jose SaberCats. Season tickets are available for purchase starting as low as $99 by calling 503-773-4AFL or by visiting www.portlandthunder.com.
