
VooDoo Add DB Leslie Majors; Trade WR Carlese Franklin to Gladiators

NEW ORLEANS (May 15, 2012) - The New Orleans VooDoo traded WR Carlese Franklin to the Cleveland Gladiators for a future consideration and were assigned DB Leslie Majors, announced the front office on Tuesday afternoon.
Franklin, a local product from Kentwood, has appeared in 3 games this season and has 4 receptions for 85 yards and 2 touchdowns on the season. Last season was his best with the VooDoo, finishing with 67 receptions for 855 yards and 12 touchdowns despite only playing in 11 games.
Majors (5'9" 175 lbs. Indiana) enters his second tour of duty in the AFL. Majors was with the Orlando Predators last season for three games before being placed on other league exempt. Majors also spent some time in the NFL with the Chicago Bears.
