
Tacoma Rainiers Announce 2010 Broadcast Schedule

Tacoma, WA - The Tacoma Rainiers and Comcast SportsNet are partnering again this season to broadcast 17 of the team's home games. These games will be aired over June, July, and August on standard definition channel 179. The first televised game will be aired on Saturday, June 5, at 7:00pm when the Rainiers face the Las Vegas 51s at Cheney Stadium.
Currently in his 12th season as the voice of the Rainiers, broadcaster Mike Curto will call the action for Tacoma during each televised game this season, with former players Jeff Heaverlo, Bucky Jacobsen and Doug Sisk rotating color commentary duties.
Heaverlo, a former first-round draft pick by the Mariners in 1999, went 12-15 over four seasons pitching with Tacoma, while Jacobsen hit a combined .279 as a Rainier from 2004 to 2005, with 26 home runs and 94 RBI.
A native of Renton, WA, Sisk went 22-20 pitching over nine big league seasons with New York (NL), Baltimore and Atlanta from 1982 to 1991, and won a World Series with the Mets in 1986.
