Ottawa Lynx News Release
Game Recap: After J.A. Happ held Syracuse hitless into the seventh inning Friday night, Syracuse turned the tables on the Lynx, holding them out of the hits column until the fifth inning. By that point, Syracuse led 2-0 and would extend their lead with a pair of runs in the sixth and three more in the seventh to take a commanding 7-0 lead over Ottawa. The Lynx cut into that lead with two runs in the bottom of the eighth. Gary Burnham drove in Javon Moran, who led off the inning with his second double of the day and Gookie Dawkins scored when Pedro Swann reached on an error. Moran drove in Dusty Wathan in the bottom of the ninth inning on a groundout. Syracuse shut the door after that, taking a 7-3 win at Lynx Stadium.
