(Odessa, TX) - Brian Swiniarski scored the tying goal with 32 seconds left in regulation, and the shootout winning goal in round seven, as the Odessa Jackalopes topped the Laredo Bucks, 2-1, on Friday night at the Ector County Coliseum.

Swiniarski's wrist shot between the circles in the third period was assisted by Dominic Leveille and Sebastien Thinel. He was the only goal-scorer in the shootout for either team.

Laredo opened the scoring with the first period's only goal at 3:57 when Eric Giosa deflected a shot from the point past Joel Martin to make it 1-0, Bucks.

Both goaltenders were terrific as Martin stopped 31 shots, and Laredo's JP Levasseur stopped 42.
