ODESSA, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey Leauge finish up their two-game road trip tonight when they travel to take on the Odessa Jackalopes at the Ector County Coliseum. Game time is 7:05pm.

The Bucks look for their third straight win tonight as they try to inch closer to Odessa in the Southern Conference standings. The Bucks are nine points behind Odessa for first-place, but have played three less games than the 'Jacks entering tonight. Laredo is four points behind Allen for second in the South.

Laredo overcame their largest deficit of the season Wednesday night in Rio, as they trailed 3-0 and came back to win 4-3. Jeremy Swanson notched the game-winning goal with 2:40 left in the third period.

Eight of the Bucks last 12 games have been decided by one goal. Overall this season the Bucks are 5-1-3 in one-goal contests (0-0-1 against Odessa).

Jeff Bes leads the Bucks in scoring with 22 points (7-1522), while Evan Schwabe (7-1017) has a total of six points (3-36) in Laredo's last two games.

With an assist Wednesday night Adam Rivet passed Brent Cullaton for fifth-place in Bucks history with 194 career points.

Going back to last seasons playoffs the Bucks and Jackalopes have played five straight one-goal games against each other, with Laredo going 0-4-1 in those contests (0-0-1 this season). Four of the last five games between the two clubs went to either overtime or a shootout.

Odessa is finishing up a four-game homestand tonight, where they have won two out of the first three games. The Jackalopes have played three straight one-goal games, including winning one each in overtime and a shootout.

Dominic Leveille leads Odessa in scoring with 31 points (6-231).

The Bucks and Jackalopes will finish their home and home series Saturday night in Laredo.
