(GREENSBORO, N.C.) - Kai Jones recorded his seventh double-double of the season but it was not enough for the Greensboro Swarm, the NBA G League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets, who fell 122-106 at home on Saturday at the Fieldhouse at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex. Jones' standout performance included 23 points, 11 rebounds, five steals and two blocks in 29 minutes.

Grand Rapids (11-9) was fueled by Isaiah Thomas who went off for 46 points on 13-of-25 shooting, including nine 3-pointers, seven assists and five rebounds in 38 minutes. He had 15 points in the second quarter (26 in the first half) which ended up being the turning point in the game.

Grand Rapids shot 71 percent in the quarter and outscored Greensboro 42-19 to take a 75-54 lead into halftime. Their 75 first half points was the most by a Swarm opponent this season.
