Stewart Powers Force 101-96 in Homecoming over Hustle

Southaven, MS - Behind 32 points from DJ Stewart, the Sioux Falls Skyforce were able to defeat the Memphis Hustle 101-96 on Saturday night to earn their second-straight road victory.

Stewart, a Grace, Mississippi native, has secured 30-plus points in three of his last four games. He did so on Saturday shooting 11-21 FGA while adding four steals.

He posted 16 points on 5-11 FGA in the first half alone, which helped Sioux Falls (9-12) to a 50-39 lead at halftime.

Reggie Hearn (22 points on 8-15 FGA and 10 rebounds) was able to get Memphis (6-13) to a three-point deficit with under a minute. Sam Thompson (season high 17 points on 5-9 FGA and five rebounds) secured two clutch free throws, which helped secure the victory for the Force.

Martin Krampelj (16 points on 4-8 FGA and nine rebounds) has posted back-to-back games with 16-plus points scored.

Damien Jefferson added 18 points on 8-17 FGA and four rebounds off the bench for the Hustle.

The Force, who before the last two games has not won a game while losing the rebounding battle, has now won back-to-back games doing so.

Sioux Falls returns home to face the Texas Legends (8-10) on Thursday and Friday, with tipoff on Thursday being at 6:30 PM CST. Memphis travels to face the Santa Cruz Warriors (7-12) on Saturday at 8:00 PM CST.
