Swann Replaces Calloway On Lynx Roster

OTTAWA - OF Pedro Swann has been transferred back to the Lynx roster from Double-A Reading, filling the spot left vacant after OF Ron Calloway's retirement yesterday.
Swann, 36, was hitting .243 with 2 HR and 13 RBI through 21 games since being sent to Reading from Ottawa April 23rd. In three games with the Lynx this season, he was 3-for-9 with 3 RBI. Swann also played in Ottawa during the 2003 and 2004 seasons. He was the Most Valuable Player in 2003-the last time the Lynx made the playoffs. This is his 17th professional season.
This is the first season the Lynx are the Triple-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies. The Lynx Box Office is Open Monday to Friday from 10 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 10 am to 4 pm. Ticket information can be found at www.ottawalynx.com or by calling 613 747-LYNX (5969).
