
Surf, ESPN Radio to Host Wiffle Ball Tournament August 3

Atlantic City, N.J. - The Atlantic City Surf and ESPN Radio will be hosting the Mike Gill Wiffle Ball Extravaganza on Sunday, August 3, 2008 at Bernie Robbins Stadium.
The double-elimination tournament will start at 12:00 p.m., with space for 50 teams to register. Each team is guaranteed to play in at least two games. The cost to participate is $50 per team; each team includes five players, and each member will receive a free t-shirt.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the South Jersey Field of Dreams, a specially constructed baseball facility designed to meet the needs of physically or cognitively impaired children. Participation in the league is free and open to children from anywhere in South Jersey.
Registration is limited to participants aged 21 and over, and is available online at acsurf.com, and at 1450espn.com, or by calling Karin Deveney, the Surf's Director of Community Relations, at (609) 344-8873, ext. 108.
