Jacksonville, Fla. - J.C. Boscan drove in three runs while the Mississippi Braves (15-16) bullpen held off a late charge, as the Braves took a 3-2 victory over the Jacksonville Suns (16-16) in front of 4,796 Tuesday night at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville.
Mississippi starter Jonny Venters (2-1) picked up the victory, dealing six and one-thirds scoreless innings, allowing three hits and two walks with four strikeouts.
