SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. - The Tennessee Smokies, Class AA minor league affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, announce the addition of three doubleheader dates, May 26, 28 and 29, to their five-game series against the Huntsville Stars. In addition, the Smokies announce a date change to an originally scheduled doubleheader against the Birmingham Barons on May 23, now scheduled for May 22.

The Smokies' doubleheader with the Barons stems from a rainout during the teams' rubber match April 19 at Smokies Park. The team's three doubleheaders against the Stars is the result of three consecutive rainouts in Huntsville, Ala. during the teams' series earlier this month.

All four doubleheader dates will consist of two seven-inning games, with a 30-minute break following the completion of the first game each day. First pitch for each Game 1 will be 5:30 p.m. Gates will open on these doubleheader dates at 4:30 p.m.
