
Diamond Jaxx Games Postponed Have Benn Re-scheduled

KODAK, TENN. (MAY 12, 2009) - The Diamond Jaxx have had the misfortune of rain in the early part of the season. There have been some announced dates for makeup games.
The Jaxx and Mississippi Braves were rained out on Wednesday, April 29th at Pringles Park. The game was originally set to be made up on Sunday, May 31st at Trustmark Park in Pearl, MS beginning at 1:05 PM. Instead, the Jaxx will play a single nine inning game on Sunday, May 31st, beginning at 5:05 PM.
On Tuesday, June 2nd, the two teams will play a double-header that will start at 6:05 PM at a Trustmark Park, in Pearl, MS. The double-header will consist of two seven inning games.
The Jaxx game this past Saturday, May 9th that was postponed due to rain has been re-scheduled for Sunday June 7th as a part of a double-header. The first game will start at the scheduled time of 2:05 PM, with the second game beginning 30 minutes after game one. The double-header will consist of the two seven inning games.
Finally the Jaxx and Birmingham Barons were rained out on Sunday, May 3rd. The game has been re-scheduled for this Sunday, May 17 as a part of a double-header. The first game will start the scheduled time of 2:05 PM, with the second game beginning 30 minutes after game one. The double-header on Sunday will consist of two seven inning games.

Also, the Jaxx and Mariners have made the following roster moves today.
RHP Justin Souza and RHP Steven Hensley have been placed on the Short-A Everett roster.
RHP Patrick Ryan and RHP Kyle Parker have been activated from the Short-A Everett roster.

Attached is a revised roster and also game notes for tonight's game with the Tennessee Smokies. The Jaxx broke their five game losing streak last night with a 4-3 win over the Smokies in 13 innings. Game two begins tonight at 6:15 CST from Smokies Park. RHP Kyle Parker (1-1, 5.40) will go for the Jaxx and RHP Casey Coleman (3-1, 3.67) makes the start for Tennessee. Parker is making his second start against the Smokies in 2009. He won the decision on April 22 as the Jaxx beat the Smokies 7-2. The season series is tied 3-3.
