Hagerstown's four-game winning streak ended on Friday night as they fell 14-6 to the Augusta GreenJackets in game three of the four-game set.
Augusta got off to a fast start off Suns starter Josh Smoker (0-4), hitting three home runs in the first inning. Third baseman Chris Dominguez hit a two-run home run to center to score Ryan Cavan, catcher Thomas Joseph followed with a homer to center and two batters later first baseman Luke Anders hit a solo shot to left. Eury Perez followed with a single to center to score Newsome.
