Hagerstown, MD: A couple of two out hits in the seventh on top of two solo homers earlier in the game gave the Hagerstown Suns and Jeff Landing enough offense for a 6-4 winover the Lakewood Blueclaws (1-1). The Suns are also 1-1 in the second half with the win. Jonathan Sanchez led an 11 hit attack with a single, double, and homerun. Joe Holden led off the bottom of the first with a solo homer, giving the Suns their initial 1-0 lead. Jeff Landing (4-9) got his fourth win of the yearand Eric Brown held the lead with three masterful, shutout innings.Kevin Tomasiewicz earned his seventh save in eight tries.
Saturday at 7:05pm come join the Suns broadcasters as they call the game from the beer garden down the left field line and have 18 different fans come on to do color on 1410 WHAG during the game. It will be Faith Night #1 as well as Dynamark/Atlantic Security Little League Homerun Hitting Contest before the game.
