Lakewood, NJ - The Hagerstown Suns and Lakewood BlueClaws contest scheduled for Tuesday evening has been postponed due to rain. The two teams will make up the game as part of a double header on the last day of the series, Thursday, with a 5:05 PM first pitch.
Tuesday's postponement is the third in six days for Hagerstown, after games on May 17 and 18 were rained out in Delmarva during the first leg of this road trip. The Suns have experienced seven postponements in 2018 including one against Lakewood on April 24 which was made up on April 25 as a double header.
The Suns and BlueClaws will resume their series on Wednesday morning with an 11:05 AM first pitch. The series wraps up on Thursday before the Suns head back to Hagerstown for a seven-day home stand, welcoming Greensboro to Historic Municipal Stadium for five games.
Friday night's 7:05 PM start to open the series against the Grasshoppers will be the first fireworks night of the season. The second day of the series will feature a double header as the two teams make up a game that was postponed on April 15.
